Rocket Stove Cooker
I had some spare time today and have been meaning to build a new rocket stove out of some scrap steel. I have made a couple before, one was quite good the other didn’t really work. These are great for a bit of fun, cooking while camping and at bbq’s.
Breakout and installation of Mendip Loxton 5
We finished this installation of a Mendip Loxton 5 multi fuel stove on a Brazilian slate hearth with a oak beam last week. I really like the Mendip Loxton range, they are well price, Defra approved and don’t require a constructional hearth.

A breakout and chimney extension
The chimney in this house had been removed in the loft. We used a flexi liner to line the remaining chimney then connected it to some black Dinak insulated twin wall pipe to bring the chimney up to the correct height.
