Maybury Woodburners is a family run business serving Bristol and the surrounding areas. We provide a personal and professional service. 

Duncan is our fully qualified Hetas installer. After training in mechanical engineering he spent 6 years working as a technician on high-performance motorcycles. He then spent many years working as a mental health and learning difficulties support worker.  Motivated by a wish to put his practical skills into use and a love for woodburners he worked towards becoming a Hetas installer and qualified in 2013. Since then he has installed hundreds of stoves and met lots of nice people.

Charlie works along side Duncan, When not installing woodburners with Duncan he can be found keeping the chimneys of Bristol clean as Sweep Well

We were extremely pleased with the job Duncan and Charlie completed for us. We love how it looks and have had many lovely fires already! We weren’t sure what we would discover as the fireplace was opened up and Duncan was able to be creative and clever with exposing the brick feature as I wanted whilst also solving minor brickwork issues to bring out the very best of what was there. We love the modern wood burner and the original traditional feature of the brick. They were a pleasure to work with, respectful in my home and with my family. Cleaned up really well, I was happy to make lots of cups of tea for them! Really happy and would absolutely recommend.

Duncan and the team were excellent, we had been in contact with them since last year and they provided a good insight into what we needed done with a clear plan of action on how we get there. I really felt comfortable with how things were handled from start to finish. I had got a few quotes with theirs being in the middle on pricing, took 2 days to get the work done, I wasn't able to be there on the first day so left the keys and when i returned the changes and quality of work were evident. very happy with the finish job and have already asked them to come back when we upgrade our existing woodburner. Do book earlier rather than later as I know they are busy which again was a good sign of the craftmanship (we booked in August for January)

After approaching 4 other wood burning Stove installers, Duncan was recommended to me by a colleague.
