This fireplace had been rather chopped around, the This fireplace had been rather chopped around, the edges of the bricks had been cut at an angle. We rebuilt a few bits and used a more traditional soft edge with the plastering to help it all tie in. I look forward to seeing it decorated. #woodburner #bristol #parkray

Planning to paint it in the next few days and get it back to a rolling chassis to help maintain momentum and enthusiasm! This basement fireplace was a huge breakout, the r This basement fireplace was a huge breakout, the rubble just kept coming. So many of the bricks were completely shot due to historic damp. The customer was set on keeping some exposed brickwork so we removed the mushy bricks and filled in the areas that were missing.. Still a work in progress, hopefully tidying up the bricks some more and finishing off soon... #bristol #basement #damp #fireplace #woodburner
